Psychosis of Collecting ft. Lulu Miller & Lina Cabeza-Vanegas

October 10 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

There is a madness in the act of collecting. A belief that one can bring some order or peace to a world ruled ultimately by Chaos. This evening will explore this idea in the form of two readings. One from essayist and translator Lina M. Ferreira and one from NPR reporter Lulu Miller. Topics likely to be discussed: Demons, Monsters, Freud, Flowers, Stars, Lightning, Chaos, the Illusion of Control.

The lights will be low. The reading will last from 7 – 8 PM. At stake will be a battle of humankind vs. Chaos itself. Find out who wins.
