Witness the real-time creative process of some of Charlottesville’s most compelling artists as they race the clock to finish an excellent piece of artwork in one day. Tune in on Facebook Live or peer in through the gallery windows each week during the event. Show some love to the artist by “tipping” with your donations to The Bridge. The single biggest tip at the end of the day becomes the owner of the newly created artwork!

Meet the artists:
As a community-run arts nonprofit, YOU are critical to maintaining the arts and culture we’ve all come to know and love at The Bridge. Please join these four artists in supporting the arts and culture we all know are critical for a connected and vibrant Charlottesville.

Sahara Clemons – August 23
Sahara Clemons is a multimedia artist, designer, and activist born in Washington D.C and based in Charlottesville, Virginia. Playing with both the traditional and unconventional, Clemons creates paintings on wood and fabric, wearable art and fashion design. Her work confronts interpersonal and intersectional concepts and provides commentary on the historic political, and social trauma of people of color and its effect on shaping identity.

Chicho Lorenzo – August 31
Chicho Lorenzo is a native of Madrid, Spain and a creative force in Charlottesville,m VA. He likes to paint as a conversation in a new language, which produces both the new and the different attitude.

Zack Worrell – September 6
Crafting custom chef knives and other great tools for those who know the difference between shit and Shinola since 2013. Zack Worrell has been “making” since he was a boy playing with legos. Creativity is in his blood and making art and working with other artists is what he does best, no matter the medium.

Dave Moore – September 13
Dave Moore is a Virginia-born artist and painter, art-schooled in Richmond at VCU. He has been making art and paintings nonstop for more than 30 years.
