Harsh Dicots is an interdisciplinary artist and composer of sound works with an ecological slant and a strong proclivity to spatiality. As of 2018, member of the Ansambl Restrikcije and Grupa HOD collective based in Novi Sad, Serbia. Received a Bachelor of Science and Arts with Honors from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA in interdisciplinary studies synthesizing music composition and neurobiology (BSA 2018). Fulbright Researcher at the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts in music composition focusing on political soundscapes, sonic ecologies, and post-transition landscapes (2018-2019). Currently a Master of Landscape Architecture Candidate at the University of Virginia focusing on post-industrial ecological reuse. Studied with Svetlana, Savić, R. James Whipple, and Annie Hiu-Hsin Hsieh, as well as Reza Vali, Robert Normandeu, Ana Sokolović, Mark Applebaum, Jesse Stiles, Bob Bingham.
