Poetry Reading ft. Jason Labbe and Allison Titus

A night of poetry featuring Jason Labbe and Allison Titus, who will read from their recent collections, as well as their collaborations Light refreshments will be provided.
About the artists:
Jason Labbe is the author of the poetry collections Spleen Elegy (2017) and Maps for Jackie (2020), both from BlazeVOX. His work has appeared in Conjunctions, Denver Quarterly, A Public Space, Boston Review, The Brooklyn Rail, DIAGRAM, POETRY, and numerous chapbooks. He received his MFA from The University of Virginia as a Henry Hoyns Fellow and has taught Creative Writing at The University of Connecticut and Southern Connecticut State University. A drummer and recording engineer, he works with various artists in the Northeast and divides his time between Brooklyn, New York and Bethany, Connecticut.
Allison Titus is the author most recently of the chapbooks SOB STORY (Barrelhouse) and TOPOGRAPHY OF TEARS (Artifact Press) and the poetry collection THE TRUE BOOK OF ANIMAL HOMES (Saturnalia). Currently the Donaldson Writer-in-Residence at the College of William & Mary, she also teaches in the low-res MFA program at New England College, works at an ad agency, and is the recipient of fellowships from Yaddo and the NEA.
