The Bridge PAI Reading Series is partnering with the Virginia Festival of the Book to host readings and conversation with fiction writer Darcey Steinke and poet Dana Roeser. $2 suggested donation.
Darcey Steinke is the author of Sister Golden Hair, the memoir Easter Everywhere, and the novels Milk, Jesus Saves, and Up Through the Water. With Rick Moody, she edited Joyful Noise: The New Testament Revisited.
Dana Roeser is the author of The Theme of Tonight¹s Party Has Been Changed, winner of the 2013 Juniper Prize for Poetry. Her two previous books, Beautiful Motion (2004) and In the Truth Room (2008) both won the Samuel French Morse Prize. She lives in West Lafayette, Indiana, and has recently taught in the graduate MFA programs at both Purdue and Butler Universities.

Julia Kudravetz and Amie Whittemore conduct The Bridge PAI Reading Series through the Arts Incubator. On the third Friday of each month, two writers – one poet and one prose writer – read from their work.
