The Bridge Progressive Art Initiative Announces 2018 Collaborative Arts Residents

The Bridge Progressive Art Initiative has announced Jum Jirapan, Karina A. Monroy and Aidyn Mills as the artists selected for the 2018 Collaborative Arts Residency.

During July and August, the artists will use the Bridge’s Belmont gallery as a pop-up studio space, and there will be a group exhibition in September.

Working closely together will help the artists develop a shared vision for taking their work out of the gallery setting and engaging the community.

Looking Inward Meditative Art Tour with docent June Heintz will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at The Fralin Museum of Art at the University of Virginia.

The hourlong exploration of art through a variety of meditative practices requires reservations, so or call (434) 243-2050.
