Education at The Bridge

  • Free 8-Week Courses

Our 8-week educational programs at The Bridge empower the Charlottesville Community through art-focused learning initiatives that seek to cultivate exciting, outside-the-box classes that call participants and teachers to approach education differently, allowing for student-centered, action-based learning that ignites creativity and empowers the Charlottesville community.

  • Camps

With small group sizes, The Bridge’s Summer Camps offer exciting and engaging opportunities for youth to explore their creativity from a local artist.

  • SmART Kids

SmART KIDS at The Bridge uses art workshops to connect children with inspiring local artists, allowing children to actively engage with the creativity happening in their own community. Students have a unique opportunity to discover talents, interests, curiosities, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills in a comfortable and inspiring environment. The Bridge Progressive Arts Initiative's mission drives us to ensure The Bridge builds, strengthens, and supports creative connections by providing financial resources, workspaces, and collaborative opportunities to empower the greater Charlottesville community. Through SmART KIDS in collaboration with our local community, we bring this mission into action by facilitating the intergenerational connection between students and teachers and designing great formative experiences for budding youth.
