  • Fiscal Sponsorship

    Programs supported through The Bridge receive assistance in applying for and administering donations and grants through our non-profit status. Click learn more to see current sponsored programs or how to inquire how you can become sponsored.

  • The Collaborative Residency

    The Collaborative Residency will provide an opportunity for 3 local artists working with varied mediums to share a studio space for 5 months (Sept.-Jan.) culminating in a collaborative exhibition at The Underground: A Center for Creative Collaboration during the month February.

  • Face to Face

    Face To Face: International connects talented local 2D artists working in varied mediums with residents of all four of Charlottesville’s Sister Cities, allowing connection through the very personal nature of portrait-making. 8 Charlottesville artists have been selected to receive an honorarium of $400 to connect with a resident of one of Charlottesville’s Sister Cities and make a portrait for the individual.

  • Telemetry

    Telemetry, is an unconventional music series, showcasing bold new musical compositions, new instrumentation, and unique collaborations across space and genre. Each performance is free and open to the public. Performances are recorded live at The Bridge Progressive Arts Initiative, in partnership with UVA Arts and UVA Music Department in Charlottesville, VA.

  • Artist Relief Fund

    Inspired by our friends at Springboard for the Arts in Minneapolis, New City Arts and The Bridge are together launching an Emergency Relief Fund for Charlottesville-area artists, seed funded by The FUNd at CACF and program support from each organization.
